Apple Tart
Ingredients for Stuffing
- Honey 1 cup
- Apple chopped 3
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon a pinch
Ingredients for Dough
- Yeast 1 tbsp
- Milk ½ cup
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- Flour 200 gm
- Salt to taste
- Ghee 4 tbsp
Method
- Dissolve 1 tbsp yeast and 1 tsp sugar in ½ cup lukewarm milk.Now add 1 egg yolk and mix well.Now add 200 gm flour, salt to taste and 4 tbsp butter. Mix well and knead to dough.Wrap with a plastic foil and keep aside.
- Heat 1 cup honey in a pan, add in sliced apple. Cook for 1 – 2 minutes.Roll the dough and spread in a greased pie mold.Prick top using fork. Now spread apple mixture on top.
- Sprinkle top with 2 tbsp sugar.Lastly sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon powder, bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes.
